The patterns inherent in multiple generations of string
can alternatively be visualized by mapping the string to
attributes of individual objects*. Thus each letter can
be interpreted as the scale, position, rotation, color,
or any other attribute of an object. Several letters can
be mapped to each object to affect multiple attributes simultaneously.
*In effect, if one regards the vertices of
a surface as unique objects and their position as one of
their attributes, then this is exactly what is done in the
previous example.
